BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Shri Naveen Srivastava (DIN: 10158134) is B Tech (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur. Shri Srivastava is holding the position of Executive Director, OSD (Operations) in Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (“POWERGRID”). Prior to taking up this assignment, he was Executive Director of Northern Region-III in POWERGRID. He has also served as Executive Director of the North Eastern Region and North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project (“NERPSIP”) in POWERGRID. During his career span of around 35 years in power sector, Shri Srivastava has worked in various capacities in EHV substations and Transmission lines both in Operations and Maintenance, Construction activities, Commercial, Engineering, Planning & Monitoring, etc. He spearheaded the installation and commissioning of the RTU and SCADA system in the Goa Grid, alongside establishing the State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) in Panjim, Goa. He has been instrumental towards execution of prestigious projects like NERPSIP, underground cabling of Kashi, first 765kV Pooling Substation at Bilaspur etc. He also played a pivotal role towards adaptation of New Technologies such as Remote Control of HVDC Rihand-Dadri Link and HVDC Vindhyachal BTB Link, 1st STATCOM (+/-300 MVAR) in UP for dynamic stability, establishment of centralized monitoring of communication system of Regional Load dispatch system under UNMS, etc. Shri Srivastava has done Harvard Manage Mentor (Management) from Harvard Business School and various Management certificate courses from ISB Hyderabard, MDI Gurgaon and XLRI Jamshedpur. He has also published various Technical Papers in International Conferences like CIGRE etc.
Shri Purshottam Agarwal (58 years) (DIN: 08812158) holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Ranchi University. He is a qualified chartered accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 29 years of experience in the fields of finance and accounts, including corporate accounts, budgeting, financial concurrence, fund raising from capital markets and enterprise resource planning systems. Shri Purshottam is currently functioning as Executive Director (Finance) in Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. Prior to taking up this assignment, Shri Purshottam was the Chief Executive Officer of POWERGRID Unchahar Transmission Limited, the Investment Manager to POWERGRID Infrastructure Investment Trust(PGInvIT) and has been instrumental in setting up PGInvIT, the first InvIT by a Government entity.
* Shri Onkarappa KN (DIN: 09403906) is a Graduate in Arts from Kuvempu University, Shimoga, Karnataka. He is an Educationalist by profession having experience of more than 35 years in education & varied related fields. He is the founder & President of Chetana Vidya Samaste, Davanagere. He has also been Director and Senator of various Universities.
* Shri Ram Naresh Tiwari (DIN: 09405377) has dual Master’s Degree in History from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi and Journalism from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He is an agriculturist by profession. His area of interest includes research, development & implementation of technology adoption in the area of agriculture, mixed farming, business cooperative activities, social & agricultural welfare management etc.
